Top 10 Ways to Make Money Online

Those who don’t believe that one can make a livelihood out of blogging are mostly unaware of the tremendous potential that internet offers, to make money online.

In my long journey, there had been many ups and downs, but guess what patience, determination, and hard work always pays off big time, and I learned to make money online, and run a successful business based on search engine marketing, content writing, blogging, and affiliate internet marketing.

So, I’m going to summarize various ways to make money online!

1. Blogging – Writing blog posts for site owners who require blog posts on daily/weekly basis, is one of the easiest ways to make money online. Writing articles or blog posts only requires good knowledge of subject, and hold on English; however having said that, writing is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea either!

2. Taking Paid Surveys – There are many sites that pay you for taking online surveys, but you won’t be able to earn a lot this way.

3. SEO – Link Building, SMO, and internet marketing are together referred to as SEO (Search engine optimization) that allows blogs/websites to rank higher for certain keywords that help them in generating revenues through sales, advertising, or other ways.

If you can master SEO tactics, you can certainly make huge amounts of money that are even hard to fathom of!

4. Affiliate Marketing - Once you start a blog, and update it with fresh and more importantly evergreen content, you can try to promote selected products by participating in affiliate marketing programs like ClickBank, and CommissionJunction.

For those of you who don’t understand what affiliate marketing is, whenever any product is sold when someone goes to vendor’s site after clicking on referral link (or banner) put on your blog, you receive affiliate commission.

5. Get Paid to Surf - Some traffic exchange programs even pay you for browsing different websites for 30-60seconds each, but once again you get as low as $0.01 for visiting a site! And, you can definitely earn a lot more through the other ways.

6. Providing Web Design/Scripting Services - If you know web design & web programming, then you’ll always be in high demand, and you’ll be easily able to make a living out of it. However, once again this requires specific skills & experience in the field, which NOT everyone possesses.

7. Website Flipping or Building Turnkey Websites - Creating websites with little content and doing good SEO to make it rank for selected keywords, and then selling it within a month is called website flipping. Once you become a master of SEO, you can easily flip 20-30 sites and make over $1000/month with website flipping.

8. Contextual Ads – Google AdSense & Chitika - If your blog becomes popular enough, then you can participate in Google AdSense contextual ad program, and make tremendous amounts of money. However, I must say it takes hell a lot of efforts, and patience to make money online with Google Adsense. It took me about 11months to recieve my $100 check, but then the figures went up amazingly fast, and to mind boggling numbers within the next one year or so.

9. Selling Links on Your Blog - If your blog has high google pagerank, then you can sell ad space or links through your blog posts. Some advertisers will even pay you to write sponsored reviews!

10. Writing & Selling e-books – If you love writing (like me) then you can easily write a short e-book and sell it for $10 or so. It’s not tough to find buyers who’d spend $10 or so for reading some interesting topics, or useful tutorials. However, remember not to write gibberish in your ebook, or it won’t even sell for peanuts!

So, there you have top 10 ways to make money online. I’ve enjoyed making money online with all the above-mentioned ways right from blogging, down to providing web design, programming, content writing as well as SEO services. – do drop me a line, should you require any assistance!
